Domain name inspired by US version The Office—one of my favourite shows.

This blog is me attempting to use WordPress for its intended purpose for once, instead of hacking and tweaking a copy of it to death in order to make it work as a website… although that works pretty well! I will be making an effort to keep all changes to the theme only,  make use of existing plugins, and create one or two of plugins of my own in the process as practice.

Some of the things I hope to do or achieve with this blog:

• Use tags properly, if at all
• Write my own WordPress plugin
• Somehow connect back to my Livejournal and Livejournal friends — friend-only posts is something I miss
• Help someone–if it’s at all possible. Either though a personal story, inspirational find, images, whatever.
• Entertain someone–again, if at all possible. I’m not a great entertainer at all, but you can laugh at me, it’s ok. I would laugh at me, in fact, I do all the time!
• Get better not suck at writing

Because this blog is still currently a work in progress, I’ve yet to find a unified tone or topic for it. Maybe it will stay random like this, maybe I will separate personal journal entries from regular blog posts, we will see how things play out. The projects I start usually take on a life of its own and the direction will be clear, as long as I keep at it.
